Selecting A Non-Dog Pet

Before I tell you about the new article I’m writing about introducing a new cat (or kitten) into your dog home, let me first say that you can find great advice on how to chose your new pet, as well as training and behavioral advice, and more to help you choose the perfect cat for your lifestyle. At the Tame That Wild Thing web site, you can even find information on tropical fish, hamsters, and birds. So far my two German Shepherds are getting along great with the new kitten, and I’m still working with my daughter’s GSD male.

So if you are looking for another animal, and want advice, check them out. But on another note, I was reading their nutrition and health section on Large Breed Dogs at that site, and found some great information on Torsion (Bloat). I have a good friend who’s Doberman Pinscher died because of it. So you dog lovers will find info you need there too.

I like this article since it is very similar to my recent experience of choosing a pet to my son.
But I still didn’t have the courage to show the small Ginny Pig to the dogs.

    Hey caladohelena!

I agree, Guinea Pigs and drivey dogs don’t mix!
